The Kelly Gang Playing Cards
Travel back in time to the wild colonial days of outback Australia. Using this deck will feel as though the Kelly Gang is back! The villains of the deck are the four members of the Kelly Gang. These original illustrations capture the youthful, destructive urges of the four outlaws, and each design captures a unique element of their outlaw character. The outlaws’ weapons are based on the weapons of choice of the actual Kelly Gang. The Jokers’ design pays specific homage to two characters, the outlaw Ned in the now famous suit of armour from his last stand at Glenrowan, and his remarkable mother Ellen. The premium deck features gold foil on the tuck case with inner printing on the packaging. Each playing card is printed on 310gsm premium German linen stock. The deck’s extra cards include a double backer, info card, and Ned Kelly portrait.

D&D Next: Circle of the Outback
Several different editions of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game have been produced since 1974. The 5th edition’s Basic Rules, a free PDF containing complete rules for play and a subset of the player and DM content from the core rulebooks, was released in 2014. The Starter Set features a set of pre-generated characters, a set of instructions for basic play, and an adventure module. The edition returns to having only three core rule books, with the Player’s Handbook containing most major races and classes. Mechanically, 5th edition draws heavily on prior editions, while introducing some new mechanics intended to simplify and streamline play.

The Game Ned Kelly
The Game Ned Kelly is a strategy board game for two players based upon the siege of Glenrowan in 1880. That’s when the Kelly Gang lost their battle against the Victoria Police, and the most wanted bushranger in Australia’s history was finally surrounded and captured. In this game Ned still has a chance to escape to one of his hideouts before the Police capture him. The rules are straightforward, but the more you understand the numerous tactics, the more complex the play becomes.
The game is suitable for ages eight and up. It is a game that will continue to challenge and be treasured for a lifetime. Each game contains twenty-four Police, one Ned Kelly, twelve Gang Members, clear rules with some history about the Kelly Legend, a 30cm x 30cm playing board printed on canvas for an Australian rustic feel, and a calico bag for all the pieces. What you need to do is to get ‘Ned’, in his suit of armour, past all the other obstacle pieces, so that he ‘escapes’ out of the slot at the bottom. The rules are: you can slide only one piece at a time and only into a vacant space – no lifting, turning or removing any pieces. Once you start, you may find it hard to put this puzzle down. But don’t give up early, as it may take over 100 movements to get ‘Ned to ‘escape’.

The puzzle is to find Ned Kelly’s skull; its true whereabouts remain a mystery to this day. To do the puzzle you will have to follow the history of the Kelly gang’s last stand in their crudely fashioned armour at against the troopers at Stringy Bark Creek. To assist we will tell the story of Ned Kelly’s Last Stand on the Limited Edition certificate you will receive with the puzzle. You will need to solve ten different puzzles to discover the tools incorporated into the puzzle. You will require these tools along the way to complete the puzzle.
At the time I thought of the puzzle as being a progressive move to take apart; I didn’t really know it, but this was perhaps the start of my journey into what then became known as Sequential Discovery puzzles. The puzzle will also be quite a challenge to reassemble because every piece in the puzzle is different and interlocking.
